Ingredients
- 1 hen or large fryer, cooked with salt and pepper, skinned and deboned
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 1 can mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of tomato soup
- 1 button garlic, cut fine
- 2 small onions, cut fine
- 1 pkg. noodles (medium size)
- 1 lb. Velveeta cheese
Method
- Cook
- onion and garlic in chicken broth until onion and garlic are tender.
- Add soups and cheese. Simmer until cheese is melted,
- stirring frequently.
- Grease casserole dish.
- Add layer dry
- noodles
- and layer coarse, chopped chicken.
- Cover with sauce.
- Add layers until you fill casserole, ending with sauce. Cover
- and cook
- at 275° for 1 hour until noodles are tender.
