Ingredients

  • 3 lb. stewing chicken
  • 1/2 lb. fine noodles
  • 1/4 c. flour
  • 3 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 c. light cream
  • 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
  • 1 small can mushrooms, drained
  • 1 small can peas, drained
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1 onion
  • 1 pepper, chopped
  • bread crumbs or chow mein noodles
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  • Prepare chicken by simmering, then take off bones and cut in large pieces and refrigerate.
  • One hour before serving, take broth from chicken and bring to boil.
  • Add noodles.
  • Cook 8 minutes. Set aside.
