- 3 lb. stewing chicken
- 1/2 lb. fine noodles
- 1/4 c. flour
- 3 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. light cream
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 small can mushrooms, drained
- 1 small can peas, drained
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1 onion
- 1 pepper, chopped
- bread crumbs or chow mein noodles
- salt and pepper to taste
Method
- Prepare chicken by simmering, then take off bones and cut in large pieces and refrigerate.
- One hour before serving, take broth from chicken and bring to boil.
- Add noodles.
- Cook 8 minutes. Set aside.
