- 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 c. grated Swiss cheese
- 1 c. finely chopped chicken
- 1/2 c. chopped almonds
- 1/4 c. green pepper, finely chopped
- 1/4 c. tomato, finely chopped
- 2 Tbsp. white wine (optional)
- 1/2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
Method
- Preheat oven to 400°.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter in water over medium-low heat.
- Add flour and salt, stirring until mixture forms a ball.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool slightly.
- Add eggs and beat vigorously until smooth.
- Stir in cheese.
- Drop dough by heaping teaspoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
- Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove puffs, cool and split.
