Ingredients
- 2 lb. chicken, cut up and washed (salt and pepper)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 Tbsp. paprika
- 1 Tbsp. chopped fresh dill or dried
- 1 (13 3/4 oz.) can chicken broth
- 3 Tbsp. sour cream
- hot cooked noodles
Method
- Season chicken lightly with salt and pepper.
- In large skillet over medium heat, melt butter.
- Add chicken.
- Cook 5 minutes on each side or until browned, turning once.
- Remove chicken and set aside.
- Stir onion into skillet.
- Sprinkle flour, paprika and dill evenly on top.
- Saute 2 to 3 minutes; stir in broth and water. Return chicken to skillet; reduce heat to medium.
- Cook uncovered 15 to 20 minutes until chicken is cooked through and juices are slightly reduced.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream alternative until well blended.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over noodles.
