Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken
  • 1 (5 oz.) pkg. noodles
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 large can tomatoes
  • 1 can mushroom soup
  • salt
  • garlic powder
  • pepper
  • 8 to 12 oz. grated cheese

Method

  • Cook chicken and debone it (save the broth).
  • Cook noodles in chicken broth.
  • Melt butter in skillet and saute chopped bell peppers and onions.
  • Add tomatoes, soup and spices to taste to mixture and let boil.
  • In a casserole dish, layer noodles, chicken, sauce and grated cheese.
  • Repeat, ending with cheese. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbling.
