Ingredients
- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. frying chicken
- 1/2 c. chopped onion (reserve 1 Tbsp.)
- 2 thin slices lemon
- 1 small bay leaf
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 1/2 c. warm water
Method
- Mix 1 batch of biscuit dough.
- Roll on floured board.
- Cut into 1-inch squares.
- Drop into mixture (listed ingredients). Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
