Ingredients

  • 6 c. chicken, cut not too fine (cut crosswise to avoid stringy loaf)
  • 2 1/2 c. chicken broth
  • 1 large can Pet milk
  • 3 well beaten eggs
  • 6 Tbsp. flour
  • 6 Tbsp. melted oleo
  • 4 c. fine bread crumbs
  • 2 Tbsp. parsley, cut fine
  • 1/2 c. green peppers
  • 1/2 c. celery, cut fine

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Grease 13 x 4 1/2 x 2-inch loaf pan and sprinkle with some bread crumbs.
  • Toast 12 slices of dry white bread until dry and golden brown.
  • Roll with rolling pin to make crumbs.
