Ingredients
- 4 chicken breast halves
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 c. dry white wine or milk
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. fresh or 1 tsp. dried dill
Method
- In a large skillet, cook chicken in butter and oil until brown. Remove chicken and keep warm.
- In same pan, add garlic.
- Cook 1 minute.
- Sprinkle in flour; mix until well blended.
- Stir in milk and wine mixture.
- Cook until slightly thick, stirring occasionally.
- Return chicken to skillet.
- Cover and simmer 20 minutes until chicken is done.
- Stir in lemon juice and dill. Serve over cooked spinach fettuccini, if desired.
