Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast halves
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. dry white wine or milk
  • 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh or 1 tsp. dried dill

Method

  • In a large skillet, cook chicken in butter and oil until brown. Remove chicken and keep warm.
  • In same pan, add garlic.
  • Cook 1 minute.
  • Sprinkle in flour; mix until well blended.
  • Stir in milk and wine mixture.
  • Cook until slightly thick, stirring occasionally.
  • Return chicken to skillet.
  • Cover and simmer 20 minutes until chicken is done.
  • Stir in lemon juice and dill. Serve over cooked spinach fettuccini, if desired.
