Ingredients
- 1 (2 1/2 to 3 lb.) fryer chicken
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- 2 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 2 Tbsp. rosemary
- 1/2 tsp. savory
- 2 Tbsp. minced onion
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1 1/2 c. milk
Method
- Buy chicken cut up.
- Arrange in shallow pan.
- Brush with some of the salad oil.
- Bake at 450° for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Reduce temperature to 325°.
- Add remaining ingredients, except flour and milk, to the salad oil; pour over chicken.
- Bake about 20 minutes longer, or until chicken is tender.
