Ingredients

  • 1 large can Northern beans
  • 2 lb. boneless chicken breast
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 2 small onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 (4 oz.) cans green chilies, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 2 tsp. oregano
  • 6 c. chicken broth
  • 1 c. cheese, grated

Method

  • Simmer chicken in water until tender.
  • Cut into cubes; reserve broth.
  • Heat oil; saute onions and garlic.
  • Add chilies and spices; saute for 2 minutes.
  • Add chicken and cheese; heat until well blended.
