- 1 c. raw rice
- 2 cans beef consomme or 1 beef consomme and 1 can water
- 6 pieces chicken or more
- paprika
- 1 can mushrooms
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
Method
- Put the rice in bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Pour the consomme in with the rice.
- Place the chicken on the rice, skin side up.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Pour the mushrooms over top of the chicken.
- Sprinkle the dry onion soup mix over the chicken. Mix in a bowl the mushroom soup, chicken soup and celery soup. Pour over chicken. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 1 hour.
- Cover with foil or lid and bake 30 minutes more.
