Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce
- 1 (12 oz.) bottle Catalina style French salad dressing
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 chicken, cut into fryer parts
- 1 onion, sliced (optional)
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a saucepan heat first three ingredients until cranberry sauce is smooth.
- Put chicken in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Onions may be placed on and around chicken. Pour heated liquid mixture over chicken.
- Cover dish with foil and bake for about 1 1/2 hours.
