- 2 1/2 to 3 lb. chicken
- 2 pkg. frozen broccoli spears
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. American cheese slices
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 c. chicken broth
- 3/4 c. cracker crumbs
Method
- Boil chicken; tear into pieces.
- Cook broccoli and drain.
- In small pot, combine cheese, butter, soup and chicken broth.
- Heat on stove until cheese melts.
- Line bottom of casserole dish with cracker crumbs.
- Layer broccoli and chicken; layer over and over, then pour cheese sauce over it.
- Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes. Enjoy!
