Ingredients

  • 6 chicken breasts (2 lb.)
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 2 Tbsp. cooking oil
  • garlic salt
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp. thyme
  • 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli

Method

  • Melt oil and butter in 9 x 13-inch dish at 400°.
  • Remove and coat chicken with melted oil and butter and place skin side up. Sprinkle with garlic salt.
  • Bake 30 to 45 minutes.
  • Remove chicken from oven and drain off juice.
  • Place broccoli over the chicken; season with salt.
  • Then mix and pour over chicken and broccoli the soup, mushrooms, water, Worcestershire and thyme.
  • Place back in oven and cook 30 to 45 minutes more or until done.
  • Serve with white rice.
