Ingredients
- 1 14 cups butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 34 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 12 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 12 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup raisins
Method
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- Beat margarine and sugars until fluffy.
- Beat in egg and vanilla.
- Add combined flour, baking soda, salt and spices; mix well.
- Stir in oats and raisins.
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 10 minutes and cool 2 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Store in an airtight container.
