Ingredients

  • 1 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 1/4 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 1/2 c. quick cooking oats
  • 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 c. nuts

Method

  • Cream together oleo and sugars until light and fluffy.
  • Blend in eggs and vanilla.
  • Add flour and baking soda; mix well.
  • Stir in chocolate chips, nuts and oats.
  • Spread dough into a well-greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Bake at 375° for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Cool; cut into bars.
  • Makes 3 dozen.
