Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 4 eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 can cherry pie filling
Method
- Beat softened butter; add sugar and beat until creamy.
- Add eggs all at once; beat until creamy.
- Add flour and juice.
- Beat for approximately 2 minutes.
- Pour into greased pan.
- Score batter into squares and spoon 1 tablespoon pie filling in center of each square.
- Bake at 350° for 40 to 50 minutes or until golden brown. While warm, drizzle glaze on top of squares.
