Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 2 c. Crisco (work in by hand)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/3 c. milk
Method
- Use jelly roll pan.
- Mix ingredients well.
- Reserve small amount of dough.
- Roll large portion and place on shallow cooking sheet.
- Fill with 2 to 4 cans cherry pie filling (or you favorite flavor.)
- Use remaining dough for strips on top.
- Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Serves 12.
