Ingredients
- 6 oz milk
- 2 eggs
- 2tsp vanilla
- 7tbs flour
- pinch of salt
- 1 1/4 lb 550g canned black cherries
- 5 tbs icing sugar
Method
- Heat oven to 350 f. Beat milk eggs and vanilla together. Gradually beat in 4 tbsp of icing sugar and flour, spoonful by spoonful. Add salt. Pour into greased baking dish 7 1/2" in diameter.
- Dry cherries with absorbent towel and add to pan spreading them evenly through batter.
- Bake 50-60 minutes until knife comes out clean. Sprinkle over the remaining sugar and serve warm.
- Scoop fresh whipped cream over each piece and garnish with fresh fruit.
