Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/4 tsp. butter flavoring
  • 2 pkg. graham crackers
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 c. powdered sugar
  • 1 c. whipped topping
  • 21 oz. cherry pie filling

Method

  • Melt butter.
  • Stir in butter flavoring.
  • Crush graham crackers into fine crumbs.
  • Mix crumbs with melted butter.
  • Press into an 8 x 8-inch pan.
  • Mix softened (room temperature) cream cheese and powdered sugar.
  • Fold in whipped topping.
  • Spread over graham cracker layer.
  • Top with cherry pie filling 1 hour before serving. Refrigerate to chill pie filling.
