- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen puff pastry shells
- 2 (3 oz. each) pkg. softened cream cheese
- 1/4 c. confectioners sugar
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- additional confectioners sugar
Method
- Bake shells according to package directions.
- In mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar and extract with fork, removing circular top of each baked shell and set aside.
- Remove any soft layers of pastry inside shells and discard.
