Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. red currant jelly
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 c. Kirsch, heated
- 2 c. canned tart cherries, well drained
- 1 pt. vanilla ice cream
Method
- Melt jelly in frypan.
- Add butter; stir until melted and hot. Add cherries and heat through.
- Pour Kirsch over cherries.
- Ignite with long match.
- Let burn until flame dies.
- Spoon hot cherries over ice cream and serve.
- Makes 4 servings.
