Ingredients
- 6 slices white bread, without crust
- 4 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. milk
- pinch of salt
- 3 oz. sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
- butter or margarine to butter the bread
Method
- Butter 1 side
- of
- bread.
- Line
- a 9 x 13-inch pan with bread, buttered side down.
- Beat together eggs, milk and salt. Add the shredded
- cheese to the egg mixture and pour in on top of the bread.
- Refrigerate
- overnight.
- Bake
- in
- a preheated oven at 350° for 35 to 45 minutes until slightly brown on top.
