Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 large chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 3 Tbsp. water
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can red (light) kidney beans
- salt and pepper
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. chili powder or less
- 1 c. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Method
- In large skillet, cook ground chuck and onion until brown; add flour, salt, pepper and water, stirring to thicken.
- Add soup, kidney beans and chili.
- Serve with sprinkled-on grated Cheddar. May be served with corn bread or saltines.
- Recipe doubles easily.
