Ingredients
- 16 c. flour
- 3 eggs
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. yeast
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 3 c. very warm water
- processed cheese, cut into 1 to 2 oz. pieces
Method
- Mix yeast, 1/4 cup sugar and warm water and set aside.
- Mix flour, eggs, butter, shortening and remaining sugar.
- Add yeast mixture, knead with dough hook for 5 minutes.
- Cover in warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled.
- Wrap dough around cheese for individual puffs.
- Let rise, spread with butter, bake until golden brown and spread with butter again.
