Ingredients
- 4 to 6 potatoes
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. milk
- 1 c. shredded cheese
Method
- Peel and cube potatoes and boil until tender.
- Drain and season.
- In separate pan, melt butter.
- Add flour and salt.
- Stir in milk.
- Cook quickly, stirring constantly, until mixture is thick.
- Add cheese and stir until melted.
- Pour sauce over potatoes and mix.
- For creamed potatoes, omit cheese.
