Ingredients
- 5 lb. potatoes
- 1 stick oleo
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- milk
- garlic powder
- 1 (16 oz.) jar Cheez Whiz
Method
- Scrub potatoes with brush.
- Slice potatoes with skins on into about 1/2-inch slices.
- Boil in water about 15 minutes.
- Lay boiled slices into a greased 10 x 14-inch baking dish or pan.
- Dot potatoes with remaining stick of oleo.
- Liberally, sprinkle potatoes with garlic powder.
- Add pepper to taste.
- Mix 1 can of cream of mushroom soup with 1/2 can of milk (measured with same can).
- Pour over potatoes.
- Bake at 400° for 30 to 35 minutes. Remove potatoes from oven and spoon Cheez Whiz over top and return to oven for 5 to 10 minutes more.
