Ingredients

  • 2 c. oat flakes
  • 2 c. wheat flakes
  • 1 c. wheat germ
  • 3/4 c. all-bran
  • 1 c. unsalted soya nuts
  • 1/2 c. sunflower seeds
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 tsp. nutmeg
  • 3/4 c. oil
  • 1/2 c. honey

Method

  • Add vanilla to oil, honey, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt; mix well.
  • In
  • a large roasting pan, put the flakes, wheat germ, all-brand, nuts and seeds.
  • Pour honey mixture over all.
  • Put in oven at 300° for 10 minutes; take out and stir.
  • Repeat every 10 minutes for 45 minutes.
  • When cool, add 1 3/4 cups of raisins or any dry fruit and coconut.
