Ingredients

  • 1 c. margarine or butter
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. New York sharp cheese
  • 2 c. plain flour
  • 1 c. self-rising flour
  • 1/8 tsp. red pepper
  • 2 c. Rice Krispies

Method

  • Preheat oven to 325°.
  • Melt cheese and butter in a double boiler.
  • Combine with sifted flour and red pepper.
  • Stir in Rice Krispies.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Roll into small balls with palm of hands.
  • Pat thin or press with a fork on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake at 325° for 12 minutes.
  • Allow to completely cool, then store in an airtight container.
