Ingredients

  • 3 large cream cheese
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1/4 c. scalded milk, cooled
  • 1/4 c. lukewarm water
  • 1 pkg. dry yeast and small amount from another pkg.
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 1/2 c. flour (a little more)
  • 2 sticks oleo
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 4 beaten egg yolks

Method

  • Mix first 5 ingredients.
  • Mix next 4 ingredients.
  • Mix next 4 ingredients and add to yeast mixture.
  • Divide dough in half.
  • Roll in wax paper.
  • Put 1/2 of dough on bottom of large cookie sheet with sides.
  • Pour on cream cheese mixture.
  • Put remaining half of dough on top.
  • Let rise 1 hour.
