Ingredients

  • 1 loaf frozen white bread, thawed
  • 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, cut in 32 (1/2-inch) cubes
  • 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted

Method

  • Cover dough and let rise in warm place until doubled.
  • Divide in 32 equal pieces.
  • Shape each into a ball around a cube of cheese.
  • Pinch to seal.
  • Dip balls in melted margarine.
  • Layer, seam side down, in greased 8 x 4-inch loaf pan or round pan (whatever).
  • Cover and let rise until doubled.
  • Bake in 375° oven for 30 to 35 minutes, until top is firm and golden brown.
  • Remove from pan and serve warm.
