Ingredients

  • 8 oz. Velveeta cheese
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/4 c. nuts, chopped (optional)
  • 4 Tbsp. chives or finely chopped onion (heaping Tbsp.)
  • 4 Tbsp. parsley flakes, dried

Method

  • Soften cheese to room temperature.
  • Blend together all ingredients with a mixer, food processor or by hand until cheeses are well blended.
  • Chill, then roll into a ball.
  • Allow it to set for 24 hours before serving to allow flavors to blend.
  • May be rolled in finely chopped nuts, fresh chopped parsley or in paprika for added color.
  • Let stand at room temperature 1 hour before serving.
