Ingredients
- 3/4 c. rolled oats
- 1/3 c. vegetable oil
- 1 egg, beaten
- 12 saccharin tablets, crushed
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 c. skim milk
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 Tbsp. raisins
Method
- Measure oatmeal into mixing bowl; add oil.
- Blend in egg and saccharin.
- Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with combined milk and vanilla.
- Mix in raisins.
- Drop by level teaspoonfuls onto baking sheet.
- Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Yields 36 cookies or 12 servings.
- Each serving (3 cookies) contains approximately 1 bread exchange.
