Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 cup Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon Baking Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons Kosher Salt
  • 1-1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 3 Tablespoons Fresh Chives
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1/4 sticks Butter, Melted

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees and lightly grease a muffin pan. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  • Stir in the shredded cheese and chives. Then, stir in the egg, milk, and butter. Mix the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
  • Pour the batter into the muffin pan. Bake 20-25 minutes. Serve warm.
