Ingredients

  • 1 c. finely shredded Cheddar cheese
  • 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
  • 2 Tbsp. milk or dry white wine
  • 1 Tbsp. finely chopped green onion
  • 1 Tbsp. diced pimiento
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • dash of bottled hot pepper sauce
  • 1/3 to 1/2 c. snipped parsley or finely chopped walnuts or pecans
  • pimiento strips (optional)
  • assorted crackers

Method

  • Bring Cheddar cheese, cream cheese and margarine to room temperature.
  • Add milk, onion, pimiento, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce.
  • Beat until combined.
  • Cover and chill 4 to 24 hours.
