Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup White Corn Syrup
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies
  • 3 cups Corn Flakes
  • 1 cup dried Currants
  • 1/2 cup shelled Sunflower Seeds

Method

  • Combine sugar, syrup & cream in a large sauce pan and heat to a boil over medium heat. Boil until soft ball registers on a candy thermometer. Remove from heat. Working fast, add remaining ingredients and stir until well incorporated. Press into a buttered 9x13 pan. Let cool before serving.
