Ingredients
- 1 1/3 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 2 c. soft bread crumbs
- 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 1/2 c. cooked carrots
Method
- Brown onions in butter; mix with bread crumbs, salt, cheese and water.
- Place 1 cup carrots in greased 1-quart casserole. Cover with bread crumb mixture.
- Arrange remaining carrots in overlapping circles around edge of casserole.
- Dot with margarine. Bake, covered, at 350° for 30 minutes.
