Ingredients

  • 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 c. cooked ham
  • 1 c. whipping cream
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 lb. cooked spaghetti

Method

  • Melt butter, add ham and 3 quarters of cream.
  • Cook over low heat until cream has thickened or cooked down some.
  • Blend rest of cream with egg yolks.
  • Add that to hot mixture (mix a little hot cream with cold before pouring it all together).
  • Stir 1/2 minute over low heat.
  • Add a little salt and pepper.
  • Mix in with spaghetti and toss it!
