Ingredients

  • 2 cups fruit cocktail, drained
  • 2 cups diced pineapple, drained
  • 2 oranges, cut into small pieces
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows
  • Dressing:
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup whipping cream, whipped

Method

  • Stir together eggs, vinegar and sugar in a double boiler, over boiling water. Beat until thick and smooth. Remove, add butter and cool. Fold in whipped cream, fruit and marshmallows, pour into dish or bowl, garnish with maraschino cherries. Chill for 24 hours.
