Ingredients

  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 2/3 c. sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
  • 1 1/2 c. caramel chips
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 c. chopped dates
  • 1 c. nuts

Method

  • Mix milk, sugar and salt in a saucepan over low heat.
  • Bring to a boil and cook 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Add marshmallows, caramel chips, vanilla, dates and nuts. Stir 1 to 2 minutes or until marshmallows melt.
  • Drop by teaspoon on waxed paper.
  • Makes 2 pounds.
