Ingredients
- 8 qt. popped corn
- 2 c. salted peanuts
- 1 c. butter
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. maple flavoring
Method
- Combine popped corn and peanuts in a
- large mixing bowl. Combine butter, corn syrup, sugar and salt in a saucepan.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat.
- Quickly stir in soda and flavorings.
- Pour over popcorn and mix well.
- Spoon mixture onto a jelly roll pan and bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Store in an airtight container.
- Makes 8 servings.
