Ingredients
- 2 sticks margarine
- 2 c. brown sugar (packed)
- 1/2 c. dark Karo syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 6 qt. popped corn
Method
- Melt margarine; add sugar, salt and syrup.
- Bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
- Add soda and vanilla.
- Pour over popped corn and mix well.
- Bake in a 250° oven for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
- Cool and then break apart.
