Ingredients
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. white syrup
- 6 Tbsp. margarine (regular; not whipped)
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 10 to 12 c. popped corn
Method
- Mix sugar, syrup, margarine, cream of tartar and salt.
- Boil mixture for 5 minutes on medium-high.
- Remove from heat; add soda. Mix well.
- Grease bowl.
- Add popcorn and pour mixture over popcorn.
- Pour on cookie sheet.
- Bake at 250° for 30 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
- Cool.
- Store in metal or plastic container.
