Ingredients
- 5 sq. (5 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
- 3/4 c. butter
- 2 Tbsp. instant coffee
- 2 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/3 c. flour
- 1 1/2 c. pecans
Method
- Heat oven to 375°.
- Grease 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Melt the chocolate and butter over low heat.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in coffee granules and vanilla; set aside.
- Beat sugar, cinnamon and eggs until sugar dissolves, about 7 minutes.
- Fold in chocolate mixture, flour and pecans until just blended.
- Bake for 25 to 35 minutes; do not overbake.
- Cool completely.
