Ingredients
- 2 (3 1/2-ounce) links turkey Italian sausage
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cups chopped, seeded plum tomato
- 1 to 2 tablespoons chopped fresh sage
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon fennel seeds, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 (16-ounce) can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15.75-ounce) can fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
Method
- Remove casings from sausage. Cook sausage and garlic in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned, stirring to crumble. Stir in the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil; lower heat, cover, and simmer 5 minutes.
