Ingredients
- 7 to 9 sweet potatoes
- 3 c. sugar
- 1 c. water
- 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 stick butter
- nutmeg
Method
- Boil potatoes until almost tender.
- Peel and cut in half. Cook sugar, water and lemon until thickened.
- Pour over potatoes. Cut butter over potatoes and add a little nutmeg.
- Cook until candied.
