Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 2 2/3 c. Wheat Chex
  • 2 2/3 c. Rice Chex
  • 1/2 c. margarine
  • 1 tsp. celery salt
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 4 to 8 drops hot pepper sauce
  • 2 2/3 c. Corn Chex
  • 1 (2.8 oz.) can French fried onions

Method

  • In a 4-quart bowl or 13 x 9 x 2-inch microwave save dish, melt margarine on High for 1 minute.
  • Stir in parsley, celery salt, garlic powder, cayenne pepper and pepper sauce.
  • Mix well. Gradually add cereals, stirring until all spices are evenly coated.
  • Cook on High 3 1/2 to 4 1/2 minutes, stirring every 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Add onions.
  • Mix well.
  • Cook an additional 1 1/2 minutes.
  • Spread on paper towel to cool.
