Ingredients

  • 1/4 stick butter
  • 1/2 large onion, chopped
  • 1/2 c. chopped bell pepper
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 1 lb. lean ground beef
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/2 c. fine dry bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c. ketchup

Method

  • Preheat oven to 375°.
  • Melt butter in a skillet over medium-low heat.
  • Add next 7 ingredients and cook until veggies are tender, stirring frequently (about 10 minutes).
