Ingredients

  • 1/2 c. olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1/8 tsp. white pepper
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • dash of salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
  • 1/2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. anchovy paste
  • 1 egg, boiled 1 minute
  • dash of hot sauce
  • 1 large head romaine
  • Parmesan cheese
  • unseasoned croutons

Method

  • Combine first 12 ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth. Wash, tear and dry romaine and chill.
  • Place romaine in large salad bowl and mix with dressing.
  • Add Parmesan cheese and croutons to taste.
  • Makes 4 servings.
