- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1/8 tsp. white pepper
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- dash of salt
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
- 1/2 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp. anchovy paste
- 1 egg, boiled 1 minute
- dash of hot sauce
- 1 large head romaine
- Parmesan cheese
- unseasoned croutons
Method
- Combine first 12 ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth. Wash, tear and dry romaine and chill.
- Place romaine in large salad bowl and mix with dressing.
- Add Parmesan cheese and croutons to taste.
- Makes 4 servings.
