Ingredients
- 1 head cabbage
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 lb. hamburger
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. regular rice or 1 c. cooked
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1/8 tsp. garlic salt
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 large jar Ragu sauce
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
Method
- Heat cabbage until tender.
- Combine next seven ingredients; make into balls.
- Peel off cabbage leaves and wrap around balls. Place in loaf pan.
- Cover with Ragu sauce, sprinkle with brown sugar.
- Cover with foil, bake at 350° for 1 1/2 hours.
- Uncover, bake 30 minutes longer.
- Can add cheese to top.
